"Which one-piece" is three decisions stacked, not one. Get them in the right order and the choice gets simple.
Decision 1 — use. Are you buying for the lane or for life? An athletic training one-piece is engineered for lap swim, dive entries, and weekly chlorine exposure. A lifestyle one-piece is engineered for visual impact, comfort, and occasional water. Pick the wrong category and even a perfect-fit suit will feel wrong — too utilitarian for vacation, too leisure for training. The right answer to this decision determines which of the two sections below applies to you.
Decision 2 — silhouette. Once you know the use, the silhouette narrows. Asymmetric, classic strap, sculpting, statement-cut. Each piece below has a clear silhouette identity; nothing's a one-size-fits-everything shape.
Decision 3 — price tier. For lifestyle/handmade pieces: $65 → $75 → $99.99. For athletic training: a single $55 tier across the Nado line. Tier within "handmade" tracks fabric grade, construction detail, and edition size — not whether it's "really" handmade. All six handmade pieces are made by the same Colombian hands; the Nado line in Section 2 isn't part of this.

These six are the ones we make ourselves — designed, sampled, and hand-finished in Cali, Colombia by the same makers. All sized 28 to 40, all carry the same 5% give-back, all use the same construction standards. The differentiation across them is design intent and price tier, not labor.
Boomerang One-Shoulder One-Piece — $65
Boomerang is the asymmetric option. One-shoulder strap, side cutout, high-leg cut, signature metal-ring detail. Built for active wear — works on the pool deck, the lane, and at the sand. The closest we make to a training-cut handmade one-piece, though it's still a lifestyle suit at heart. If you want movement freedom and a distinctive silhouette in one piece, this is the choice.

La Tradicional One-Piece — $65
La Tradicional is the staple. Clean scoop neckline, high-leg cut, eleven solid colorways. The piece that takes you from pool deck to beach to family vacation without trying to make a statement. If you want one handmade one-piece in your wardrobe and you don't yet know what you'll wear it for, this is the safe and right pick — it works across every use the lifestyle category covers.
Carolina Beaches — $75 (LUX)
Carolina Beaches opens the LUX tier. Clean polished silhouette, denser sculpting fabric than the $65 pieces, more deliberate finishing. Reads as a polished pool-deck and beach-day suit. Oro Antiguo is the statement LUX piece. Deep black with antique-gold metalwork at the focal points, high-leg cut, limited batch. For resort dinners, pool-deck parties, occasions where the suit is the outfit rather than the daily wear. Not a daily-swim suit; it's the dressiest piece in the line.
Country Pride Heritage One-Piece — $99.99 (made-to-order)
Country Pride is the personal one. Made-to-order per country flag — pick yours, we make the suit. Limited LUX-tier construction, hand-finished, custom turnaround. The closest piece in the line to a one-of-a-kind. If your relationship with where you're from is part of why you swim, this is the suit that earns the longest wear in your closet.

Athletic & training one-pieces we also carry: the Nado line
We don't make athletic training one-pieces ourselves. Our handmade line is designed for lifestyle, vacation, and statement use — pieces you can absolutely swim in, but not built for the daily 5,000-yard set against a clock. How the two lines fit together
Most women buying a one-piece will want one from our handmade line. The lifestyle category is what most one-piece shopping is for — vacations, pool days, beach trips, the dinner where you don't change before. Our six are the answer there.
If you're a swimmer — masters meets, daily training sets, triathlon prep — the Nado line is the practical answer for the training half of your swim wardrobe. Pairing one handmade piece (say La Tradicional for the off-deck use) with one Nado training piece (Double Strap or Printed for the workout sets) covers most swim wardrobes well.

Sizing the one-pieces
One-pieces from either line use the 28-40 numerical sizing system. Size the larger of your bust or hip — a one-piece tight in one zone and loose in another rides up at the loose end. The handmade line's sculpting fabrics (especially Luna Curve) sit closer to the body than the athletic training cuts. The Nado training cuts have more give for stroke work.

What's the difference between Bikini Uni's handmade line and the Nado pieces?
Construction and use-case. Our handmade one-pieces are designed and hand-finished by us in Cali, Colombia, built for lifestyle and statement use. The Nado pieces we carry are made by a Colombian athletic-swim brand and built for training use. They're not by the same makers. We carry them because they serve a use our handmade line doesn't, and we list them under their own header rather than blending them into our line so you can tell which is which.
Are the LUX one-pieces good for lap swimming?
You can swim in them — the construction is real — but the design intent is the pool-deck and beach moment, not the lap workout. You pick the country flag at checkout; we make the suit per order. Turnaround is longer than the in-stock pieces — figure a few weeks.
